Kryptview Issue

Purchased a used KV few days ago but unable to get any TV or radio channels.

Despite several scans, I still have no channels. Could be a faulty box? If so is there a easy fix?

first of all do you have a live vm feed,if so next i would reflash the box with the 24042011 firmware by null modem method only using pc with xp and serial port as usb adaptors can fail and give this problem,when flashed hook up to tv and internet and do a s/w update to latest firmware and dont touch anything when box is updating,when finished and box reboots,do a factory reset and auto scan from a strong direct feed no splitters and lan removed, if you know your correct net id select that from list to scan on ,insert lan when channels listed on box have stopped scanning,box modem and router may need to be powered off for 30 secs then on to gain a connection.
