Problems with box super!!!!

Hello, i down loaded 8.02e onto my box super, and its gone crazy!! It works then re-boots, the letter 'h' has come up a few times, ld80 etc,,,, cant work out for the life of me what is wrong with the box. I done the factory reset, re scan but teh problem stil exists. Any suggs?

try re flashing the 8.2 onto the box sometimes this can help

Done that a few times. the box is not staying on. It works for a minute then reboots, ld80, then sometimes a letter will be on the display like A or H. Ive never seen this before, freaking me out. everytimn eit does start to work, and i change the channel it goes of again and starts re booting and so on and so on!!! any ideas?

Try this and reload your firmware,if not could be the caps.
Get everything ready, then switch on you see ld80 on the front panel LEDs, it's not an error code. That's the point when 'boot loader 8.0' is running so should be the point at which you start your download.

i tried with the 8.00 , the lds came up boot then ld80 and i hit download. The download did not start and after a few seconds it said 'flash update failed'. Totally lost now. Whats caps?!!!!!!!!!

internal capicitors are a known issue on starviews,u need to unplug unit remove top and view look for bulges or leaking around board.i presume box is out of warranty.
