connecting blade box to PC

Hi. Im trying to connect my box to my pc.
Heres what it tells me to do in the handboook.
Go to file manager/press create/input ip address of pc / click connect.
Then i get connecting to server /then communicating with srrver / then connection failed.
Any ideas what im doing wrong? Ive got 60meg broadband connection and useing TP-Link av500 gigabit powerline adaptors.

what programe have you installed on to pc for it to connect to

Its ok i got it sortrd now. I just had to update the blade smedia server software to the latest version and boom connected instantly.
