Help Needed For a Blade Newbie!

Hello,

I am looking into the Blade as i have just moved into a new flat & only sky is available, reading through all the guides etc seems to make sense & it all seems simple enough although i am hoping for some help in regards to the dish

All i am aware of in regards to the flat im not in is quoted in my welcome pack & i quote "Your new home has been built with the future in mind & has a communal sky digital television system installed"

Obviously this means very little to me, so i am unaware if there is a dish fitted anywhere in the building (but i will be doing my best mission impossible outfit to see) i do have entry points in the front room which i assume the sky box would connect too.

so i guess the question is, if there is a dish (which i assume is used by the whole block) do i need to make any adjustments to this? or am i ok to go ahead with everything as long as i have an internet connection/card share susciption etc?

if anymore info is needed let me know, as the above many not make too much sense!

No you won't need to make any adjustments. If there is a dish, it sounds like there is as there is no other way to get SLY, it will already be aligned to A$TRA. So it sounds like you just need to connect into the wall socket they provided.

if you have sky feed then you will be fine just hook up your blade to sat feed and internet get a good csline and away you go.

So basically i just need to connect the Blade to the wall socket & internet, suscribe to a card share & away i go?

I dont need to connect with s*y, just use the connection point available?

yep. so long as the wall socket is sly and not vermin cable or any other cable service.
