New SV Firmware 09/06/11

Now in downloads

This firmware will install a expiry date on your box which will be a long way short of the year promised.
Without this firmware the box will go off in two days.
The firmware will only work on boxes that were working before and will not fix the "not connected" boxes

File in download section

To install,

Copy smgo221.ups to a extrernal storage device or usb pen (make sure its formatted to fat 32)
insert extrernal storage device or usb pen into the usb ports at the rear of the box

Press menu > utility > Usb > uk > SMGO221.ups > ok

S/W upgrade > ok

Wait for s/w upgrade to complete and box to restart

Once restarted Factory Default
menu > installtion > facotyr default > ok > ok

Scan for Channels
menu >installtion > autosearch > ok
sybol rate "your symbol rate" > search >wait for search to complete > ok >exit >exit

Activate
Go to premium channels (ie sly sports 1) press 1819 on the remote

Screen format- menu > options > osd setup > screen format > ok > 16:9 > ok > exit > exit

so put new firmware on me box sv7(smgo221ups)and everything was working fine,,,,,got home from work 2day now saying not connected any ideas y people or is that it now,,,,,have gone into system info expiry date is supposed to b 15th oct 2011,,,,,only had this box since december nothing but trouble since had it what a crock of shit starview is would recommend no 1 2 get these boxes,,,least still got kryptview

mine said the same this morning just put in 1819 and it popped back on

some people says (techkings.org forum) new software 2.21 Expiry date is 15 / jun/ 2011,
this is true or false?

Everyone is receiving different expiry dates total fook-up

my expiry date was otober 15th new software worked for about 2 days now just saying not connected as said starview r a crock of shit nothing but problems since day i had it any 1 out there dont buy a starview waste of money

the not connected may be just modem/router/box will need to be powered off for a min then on,make sure you have inputted 1819 to allow to connect.
