Hi
just bought a blade 7000s box, seen it working at the guys house who I got it from ,it has a 9mth free gift.
got it home set it up,,, as it was set up at this guys house but i'm getting no internet connection,,, the guys says I should have a flashing light at the back of the blade box where the LAN goes in I've connected str8 to the broadband box but no flashing light, and just channels saying scrambled, was wondering if any one can help?

just to let you know that I have it sorted, I went str8 into the wall box instead of the router. I was having a blonde moment

How did you manage to connect to the wall socket and the Lan, what cable.?

long time no speak...yeah I had taken the cable from my sly box, which I didn't realise until I tried to connect it to my router that It didn't fit. 5mins and £3 later I was sorted and it was working..
is there a standard pin number for these boxes? again thanks for all the help..

0000 standard pin, on any channels press 9991 for secret menu, after 9991 firmware is installed.

just another question while I think about it,
can I buy a dongle for this blade box. cause me router is some distance from where I want to put my box.

Some have used a dongle with different results, wired is best followed by homeplugs.
