Have downloaded the tool and latest bin followed the instructions but I'm having a problem flashing my KV (Tried with null modem cable /XP)

When I click on start, a message "Downloading not requested" appears. Does anyone had this issue and know how to correctly flash the box?

box has to be powered off at the rear first,follow the kryptview tuts for flashing.
if you have a serial port on pc maybe the kv loader when opened has the option to change what com port you are using com 1 to 4 change and retry it,

Thanks but have tried all options still no joy (only port1 works).

In order to get 0000 on display I did the factory reset while connected to the pc. After failed to update plugged the box to tv, did a factory reset and this time no tps to select. Zero channel found. Not sure if I kill the box.
Could this be something to do with with the cable (bought new) or serial port on my laptop?
Please help.

Perhaps the box is updated check__Menu- System Info-what date.

Has the cable been used before to update.?

Null cable as nothing to do with scanning. reckon your net ID maybe Bristol TW, 40970

Thanks found the old cable flashed the box without issues. Going to rescan the box now. Thanks again for your help.

You do know the box can be updated via remote (sometimes Very Happy)

Have updated the box but problem finding any channels. When I normally do a reset it scan for tps first. But the box now only has 11tps (says already exists) scan unable to find any channels. Not sure how to update the tps list please help

factory reset and scan box on your strongest point of entry,no splitters,try another provider as you may be scanning wrong one and then select your correct id.
