Another Update V4.5.07

V4.5.07 can be updated via box provided 2016 software has manually been installed.

The new update will help some who were previously unable to "connect" their line, had seen that problem on a few boxes but all is OK now, enjoy.

where do i get the software when i go into downloads at the bottom of this page it is not there  please help

No need to open the file it goes straight into the loader as shown in the utube video.

Set-Up Kryptview A780

i have not updated  my box  [  to hard for me    ]  can someone tell me what you get   a friend says it is only freeview

Updating the box will only give you freeview without a line which is what you have now without the update.
At one time the box was updated by yourself or the guy who sold it to you, ask them to update it, or state your area for help.

Their are some KV boxes on ebay that are updated buy one of them and sell yours.
OR
Download the update and the loader use the cable previously used to update and follow details posted.

keep getting download not requested for the a780

Is the correct cable being used.?
Try another download the first (date) does not have to be used.
A force flash maybe needed, turn box off - press download slightly before turning box back on again, this may have to be done a few times.

Tried that many times,correct nullcable both usb and double 9pin,port is set correctly and usb cable recognised in device manager,going to try mates old computer with 9 pin port

Very likely a force flash is needed, try downloading/uploading the latest software to box

just one thing why does it not show tp udate   the last one was april

Channels and TPs Update 15/04/16, if so that has nothing to do with the updates/downloads.

Very few TPs have changed since the last update on that thread

SORRY CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT I WILL GET ON MY NEW UPDATE

The new up will give you FTA channels basically what you have now without the update.
The new update AND a line/sub will give you all channels eg.. Sport-Movies etc.

tried three cables now,with usb windows 7 and straight cable from port on xp still says download not requested ,following instructions to the letter and tried a few other ways,all ports configured correctly,do i need to wipe the box before i do this as i haven't tried that yet just tried to update with old software still on it

No need to wipe/factory reset the box.
As previous try the force flash, if the box is turned on too quickly download not requested may appear,  if box is turned on too late download failed should appear, its just getting it right.
Try waiting a little longer before turning box on, if it does not start to download possibly too as high as 20% then stating fail download, then a cable is the fault.

ok will try it again later was waiting between 1-5 seconds before switching on

too long and the box will boot up missing the flash,do you not need the null modem cable and usb adapter connected to work?

Both 780/850 are working fine. anyone who says different don't know how to set them up or are lying.

Feel free to name the forums these untruth are posted.

Finally got it,lost count of the attempts but got there,patience was the key and hit n miss on the force flash,mgcam working well,glad it's back as my new box has crap epg.thanks for all the help guy's

Well done was beginning to think you were using the wrong cables.

Found i had to switch on box almost as i hit start,download failed a few times at various percentages but seemed to go further each time,then went all the way,may not work that way for everyone as said before a bit trial and error for me,luckier ones may get it first try

Amiko hd combo-great picture but lousy epg,got it to replace a780 as was very easy to set up.confined to the bedroom now

Small issue,my mgcam line shuts down after a while. if i am watching Fta channels for a while and i go back to pay channels i need to restart it but if i am watching a pay channel it stays on indefinately,any thoughts

three different people   told me it is no good  putting the new software on   what is the truth   someone   pleeeese

what do you want to use your box for a doorstop=with no firmware and line.
if you do put the new image on then you will need a cable nline provider
