New Update for A780, using remote Menu-Installation-S/W Update

good spot,
might make the severs a bit more stable

dont forget to factory reset/rescan also as normal.

getting nothing here, just say's "searching new update" any clues to what I may be doing wrong....

1,The software on the box is outdated
2 The box is already updated.

What firmware is on the box now,Menu_System Info-What Date ?

Firmware OK,you are connected to the net.
Try rebooting box,should work

connected to net, all plugs are in, reset everything and still got same message,

Unable to try a box at the moment,asked a few friends no problems.
Rebootng the box should have helped,try rebooting router and modem also.

done everything here, still no update,

There is a problem at the KV side.

if your box is running ok then dont worry try again t/morrow as quite a few ppl are having same issues

aye seen a few around with same results,did you try removing coaxial cable power off box at rear then on and retry.

Hi jonpc my channel have gone .my software update on th 29/11/11.I have tryed the software update but noting happens.please help..

mine is the same update.. 29/11/11. just stays on the, searching new date screen i think they is a problem on the KV side. hopefully next few days it will be sorted out..

Problems all over,try loading 26/04/2012 bin file and this will let you update with remote,if not then you should get all your channels back,and update later when things settle down

how would i load 26/04/2012 bin file, would i download it from somewere,?

maybe tonight update may be back.

Dooby normally puts files In downloads section , have a look there.

thanks for the info, no file there as of yet but i,ll keep checking

having exactly same problem just keeps saying searching new update but nothing happens also running Kryptview_A780_29112011 .bin and cant find the 26/04/2012 bin file.

neither can i so dont feel too bad

Try a default then rescan ,then see software update ,maybe unblock it, worth a try

i turned box off at the back turned it back on then did remote sw update which worked fine this time and now all channels back on

What firmware is now on the box ?
To check Menu_Installation_0000_ Date?

just done another box i had i had to re install the Kryptview_A780_29112011 .bin file then when that completes turn the box off at the back then back on then do the remote sw update and again all works fine.

The firmware info is date: 06/112012
software version pv4.1.03
h/w version v3.0.0

Thanks just checked the update is now working.
