HELP!!! KRYPTVIEW Nightmare

My Krptview a780 is barely watchable due to frequent glitches. It freezes then it shows "scrambled or no video". It will then come back maybe after about 1 minute. I timed to check how often it does and it is happening every 2 minutes. I am getting all the channels but they are barely watchable. Is there something that needs to be done to my box or maybe it has seen its better days. It is driving me nuts. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

are you on the latest firmware and got splitters fitted as that can give problems,are you on the correct net id,not downloading torrents in the back ground.

The box is connected through a splitter. I am on the NetID that I have been using all along. There is torrenting happening. I have just checked my signal strength and it is showing Signal = 56 and Quality = 58. Are these numbers in a normal range.

Had same prob yesterday,menu 'installation,factory default, then a new search, I got a few channels back as well. Also try software update to make sure you are on latest

Presume you mean SS1 which is a KV problem,hopefully like yesterday it will be fixed before the match starts,fingers crossed.

Signal seems a bit low,pause your downloads and take out and check all connections are tight, then reboot router and box your signal should go up to 70>77 and your glitching should disappear

Thanks for all your responses guys. If I may ask what is the latest Software version. Currently going through the Software update but nothoing is happening.

H/W version: v3.0.0

26/04/2012 is the latest software,also having some trouble.

You're up to date mate, sometimes the k/v servers can be a bit unstable,causing missing channels etc

Thanks guys for your continued support, I guess I just have to put up with it. I have tried everything suggested in this post but the signal strength is still poor and still glitching. It could be a V***n thing.

did you check your vm box for correct net id?how old is your cabling also.

i see you mentioned torrents,this will cause glitching.

I mentioned torrenting in response to your question but otherwise its not my thing.
I don't think my cabling is that old, because it works perfect with the V***n box and Internet.

Kv were having problems earlier that is OK now,just watched the football on SS1.
Change the ethernet cable (if using one) between the box and router
