new firmware - won't update

As i lost all channels, i tried to update software via remote. the
screen has been displaying "searing for new software" for 3hrs now.
where can i download the new software so i can flash it with rs232 cable?

Is the box direct to router. As when i first did my setup with these boxes I didn't and it did the exact same thing.

i use homeplugs. my modem is on different floor from tv room.
i'll try again now, since it's late and maybe the servers are not
very busy.

Some people are having trouble with the new update,if so just reinstall the 24/04/11 firmware.in downloads section

If you lost all channels the problem is with your set-up not the frimware.
Both old/new firmware are bad at the moment.

ok. its up and running.

i had left the box to update the firmware overnight. in the morning
the new f/w was loaded and the box is working fine now. plus i got
more channels now
