im getting constant pic freeze . that results in scrambled channel ..

level is 85% and signal 78% on astra 28 i get same problem on the hotbird ..

the astra is a fixed sly dish ..and hotbird is a large fixed dish...i have orange livebox ..

ive even changed the firmware but same problem ..all free to air work fine..

Do you have a blade box problem or orange box ??

if blade and free to air ok must be sub or net connection issue

A few questions which I hope you will be able to answer to see if a solution can be found...

1. Does your internet stop frequently when generally browsing on the computer/laptop?

2. How fast is your internet? - Do a speedtest at speedtest.net

3. Are you able to see your router statistics, if so, do you have high attenuation?

I also have a similar issue... I have two connections running but every so often i get a freeze.. I get a message "scambled channel". I flick channels and it comes back on. I have a blade box with a wired connection to my router which is 15meters away. MY internet connection is 30meg with VM.

I have followed the instruction guide on installing the firmware from this site.

I am stumped on what could be causing the problem. I have been reading around and have seen different versions of the blade firware...

Any idea's???????

... should i update the firmware... have seen this one about (BM7000s-06-09-11-7dx-beta patched ) anyone tried it?

Have you got a netgear router? I was having the same problems I swopped out the netgear router for a new router (TP-Link) and my problems have gone Smile.

Edit : Doh! see you have an orange live box , note to self - must read more carefuly

I have a VM home hub... have powercycled everything... i have tried to rule out everything... i am connected to two servers, have switched between the two connection and it happens on both. the Free to air channels work without a hitch.

sorry... dont mean to jack the thread... but if anyone can also assist me..
