my real beef is with the big well known and real used company who sold us the sv 7 and aint doing shit about it,like i said we've had a e-mail asking for mac and box number which we supplied straight away.Since then nothing! this company is rated by evey one who i've spoken to so why rip the little man of? Any advice how to approach this subject? i wont mention on this site the name of the company but as far as i'm concerned they stink and their reputation is shite and i will throw the name about(not on this site)as they deserve a bad reputation ftheir c/service and the way they've treated us,sorry if i'm going on but i expected better thats why i used this company as before many times i even recommended them to my friends and they pull a stunt like this.Any advice as how to deal with these rip off's would be well apprecicated thank you

Unfortunately the boxes are sold as FTA only not a lot you can do

The company I presume you mean don't have any control with these boxes any more since a raided.

name and shame em m8 so others can be warned off said company

box suppliers have their hands tied yes no problem selling stock but it seems starview may have washed their hands and now THE KIDDY has taken over and he gets the boxes sorted out only the people that have paid can say how good/bad the service is,but is a riskier route to take not the same as it was before.
this has got nothing to do with retailers selling stock and as we say you are buying a fta box.

read in the paper on saturday that previous server has been jailed for a few years so who is doing it now? have read on another site those who cannot get connected will have to register and pay. robbin bar-stewards

are you thinking of a seller selling eurovox boxes back years ago.
yes there is money in it now and more risks.

why is it they are calling these boxes fta when vm are encrypting all the free view channels except for the usual ones that you get i mean itv 2 3 4 dave daveja vu and a few more these are free channels and they are encrypting them is this not ilegal ...... i wonder.

FTA and Freeview are NOT the same,FTA are only the basic channels.
It is illegal to use VM equipment (feed) for any box other than VM's own box,it's in their T&Cs
