If I were to take off my Sview 1 box and plug in a regular FTA cheap box to the same cable would I get the regular free channels?

ehhhh do you have kids if yes say they spilt juice all over it and you had to bin it otherwise your only options are hook the ariel straight into the tv and do a install where you will get channels 1-5 and maybe a few other s**t channels or buy a new box or get a ariel installed and then hook the freeveiw on to that sorry but as far as i know there is nothing else you can do king

I know but with all the talk of VM blocking the boxes permanently, I'm a bit wary of buying another 1.

in my oppinoin it will never happen they have tryed from the start and all they do is disrupt things for a while if there lucky it is all about comnputer code and if someone can create it then someone else can crack it they have been talking about computer piracy (i.e software games music movies) for years and how they are cracking down on it companys have spent billions on trying to prevent it but it doesnt seam to make a diff so i belive all the talk thats going round is just rumers (that v media were wishing was true) but wont actually happen if man can make it man can crack it lol!
