euroview

does anyone no where to get the new firmware for this box please

Hi Happy, sorry to say this box is out of touch, if using cable, best to look at the Kryptview or Blade Combo (needs a sub)

Happy, can you update what channels you were receiving and was a sub being used, has your sub ran out.

no, sub was till july internet not conneting free channels still working dongle  showing green , amber and flashing red light

ah odd one still left,try rebooting box and router as in off for 20 secs then on.what way is it connected to lan.?

Sub runs out in July 2014 correct.?
If not connected to internet no channels will be  received apart for FTA, BBC ITV

thanks I no that the problem is the dongles red light shood turn green when connected  starview and phantom box just had new firmware released so thought the euroview needed one aswell that might b causing the internet from connecting have a skybox and ibox  connected to the same modem which r working fine so my internet connection is ok

is the dongle to internet or to starview to turn green?
i would have said lan.

with a starview 7 and euroview you hav to connect a adaptor to the r232 connection to which you connect the lan cable from the modem which has the 3 lights on it, the red turns green to show the internet is connected

so then your euroview is not connecting to internet,recheck/replace lan cable?

lan cable is ok tried it in the ibox works fine so internet connection is fine,just wondered if it needs a firmware update like the starview and phantom box,went off about the same time as them don't no if I can use the same firmware .starview say not but it could b because they want you to buy their box

Wouldn't use the SV firmware, from what you say it looks like a free line was being used and SV have found out and shut it down.

part true free line if the info on the dongle showed all ffffff
however those boxes need new software
as did the sv and phantom boxes
sv ,phantom work but have no epg,so a new update will be released
the evhd will need to wait on new s/w
