No matey not much info as yet when i get some will post guide, but will be same as starview flash via usb and scan also broadband connection needed

Yep, it's the same as starview, flash via usb and scan.. broadband is needed.

One problem I am having, I can't get it into 1080p, my TV says "Mode Not Supported" anytime I try to change it from Scart to "ypbpr+HDMI" which is the HD option. I've got it plugged in with a HDMI cable, not a scart lead.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Is your tv 1080i or 1080p as this might be the issue also dont know what hd options are on this box.

Tv's were sold as hd ready
1080i = Early so called hd ready
1080p True hd ready

But tv picture broadcasts in 1080i anyway

just a thought does tv hdmi need to be switched on in settings.

I've had the same problem with this box (hdmi / ypbpr, not supported) - i don't believe its a TV setting fault as all my other hdmi equipment seems to work at 1080.

I am running through the hdmi cable though. im just not convinced its a true hd picture.

Yep it's a full HD TV.

The problem was changing the display setting to 1080 through the menu on the euroview box. IF you just click the "V FORMAT" / "TV OUT" button at the bottom of the remote, and scroll through to 1080 that way, it will work

It seems one display setting is not compatible with my TV, and thats the one it was selecting for 1080 through the menu, but using this button it seems to skip that and works in 1080! If your TV goes to "mode not supported" before you get to the 1080 setting, just press the button "V FORMAT" / "TV OUT" button button again to skip through that mode.

are these units on a 1 year lifespan same as starviews are?

Yes,they are Starview just a name change nicked from the now defunct Eurovox.

unsure if i heard that these boxes have halted now.

These boxes are upgrade of starview & sooner or later these will go off so don't fall into they trap.Go with satalite box.

hi all mate has got euroview did have most channels national geo, discovery put new firmware on now all i get is scrammbled channels??? whats gone wrong, thnx in advance.

this is basically a s/v box and if you have 1 of these you will have same crap as you get with s/v

Has the correct software been installed,don't look like it.

Why update for the sake of it,go to System Info on the box and check it's the same firmware thats in downloads.

does euroview not work on the non existant sv server with no channels,think its going the same way as starview boxes.

I would agree,but he did say he had some encrypted channels.
