Scrambled or no video, only 6 channels??

Hi, I recently brought a A780, set it all up as instructed and managed to find the channels but I can only get the 1st 6 channels and all after this are saying ''Scrambled or no Video''? I have a brand new Lan cable from the VM router to the box and the cable straight from the VM splitter to my KV, I still have a full package with VM so the signal isn't a problem, ive re=scanned and turned both the router and the KV on and off and reset a couple of times.

Can any one help at all please?
Do I need to address the Lan cable with the router?

what firmware date is on box,menu-system info? rebooted box and rooter

It was last updated 8-01-13, think its filmware V-0002, ive rebooted both box and router several times and reset the box back to factory settings.

Don't recall a 08-01-13 firmware for the A780, could be wrong.

First try to update via remote, Menu - Installation - Password = 0000   - S/W Update  if this doesn't work update will have to be done manually, this link for vid will help https://dooby2oons.forumotion.com/t2123-set-up-kryptview-a780, (Flashing the KV780)
Firmware in downloads bottom right choose the latest then update via remote again via remote as above.

Ok will do, i need the cable first, I have tried to do it by the remote but it just comes up with FAIL on the box, what is the newest s/w version please?

Believe the latest in the downloads is 26/05/13 this will work but can be updated further via remote after installation of 26/05/13 from downloads.

Hi, so i have the cable plugged in and updated to 26/5/13 and i ttry to do a box update but it says Searching then box goes off, back on, then says ''Requesting update'' but nothing happens?, I have most channels apart form +1 and some in between.

The latest for the KV A780 is 16/08/13, updating firmware will not allow you to receive the +channels, perhaps the the net update was having problem when you tried.

ok, where do i find the lastest update and also how will i get the +1 channels or the channels that say ''Scrambled or no Video'' their isnt many but be nice to get them all.  One other thing i was wondering is do i get the pay per view channels?

The +1 channels are not available for the kv 780 ATM
Update, menu, installation, s/w update,
PPV channels are not available.

Great Thank you, ill try again to update tonight, also having problems with the splitter to KV and VM box it keeps saying no signal but fine when line is in direct.  should i be using a specific splitter ?
