saveing a channel list

just been asked this question and i aint got the foggyest

how do you save a channel list from box to pc (kv 780)

as there is going to be a change again and factory/default and scan from wall direct feed,think i saw with null modem connected to pc upload channel data file? to a new folder,not got a box here to check settings.
remember they are short lived until things move again.

 Sounds like someone has done a factory reset and is unable to get their area to enable them to rescan.

There is no channels editor that I know of for the KV.

never bought a box of 10 jonpc and download a channel dump,the good old days.
eh is the downloader not one channel edit?
