i am having a problem my box is stuck on 0000 and icant get into the ip it goes back to easy installion help please

Have you tried to reboot the box.?
Is 0000 your password or has it been changed.?
Where you tring to install firmware.?
Can the box be rescaned or software updated via remote.?

the box itself is stuck when i check for update it says allready updated when i try to go into network search it goes back to easy installion

Presume the box has been rebooted

If the firmware is old the box will not update go to Menu/System Info
should show Nov 2011 firmware,if not the box will have to be updated manually.

Has the box ever worked.

yes it workihg last night when i put the box off on the display panel it shows ----- when i put it on it shows 0000

What firmware is on the box.?
Check all leads eg scart

Hope it's not the power board,was it well vented so not to overheat

has the box got a live feed and are you scanning correct provider.

as i said i cant get into the provider when i try it goes back to easy installion

it stays on easy installion cant exit back to picture

What firmware is on the box.?

i have the latist firmware all leads are fine what does ---- that mean on the display panel

means you need to do a scan

when i do a scan it fails

cant get into provider

The firmware shows Nov 2011 Menu/System Info
The scart leads are OK perhaps change them

Reflash manually with the FTA firmware/manually 2011 firmware/update via remote for latest firmware

did that and it says allready updated that is not the problem it is the box display saying --- when off and 0000 when on need to get rid of that

cant get utube it says missng plugins

have the box for a year did a factory reset just can not get into provider every time i try it goes back to easy installion and back to ent need tellepest

are you pressing the exit button or ok button,i would suggest to get the plugins to watch the video.
