Kryptview A780 and newcamd/mgcamd

Hi folks,

Firstly apologise if this post has been repeated.....but as a newbie.....I have just
flashed a kryptview A780 box with:

Kryptview_A780_13062016.bin firmware

Then I got a test line (newcamd).........entered it exactly as stated.......but wouldn't connect. Could this be a bad test line, or am I missing something?

possible as many had issues when entering,i found copy and paste would not on other boxes and typing would work but with kv its done on remote.recheck info entered is correct.
  some lines when entered dont clear even when connected.
make sure line is mgcamd and suitable for your area be it uk or irl.
  also worth rebooting box and router to see if it has a net ip.

I rechecked the imput again and again without success, I must say,
the supplier if the test line said it was newcamd compliant, however,
he also said wasn't too familiar with the KV A780..hmmmm.

Also, how would I know if it's suitable for my area??..

I also tried his IP and not the fqdn, but still no joy

when people ask for a vm line they dont say what or where hence the issues.

did you ask for a nline.mgcamd and to work in uk where you live?

What you've done so far seems OK.
 It don't matter what area, Newcamb is OK
Go to menu - Active, turn/off then on, should change to connected
Presume FTA channels (BBC ITV) work.?

Different supplier, but works.......it might have been that I didn't reboot post camd input...but hey.....happy with my old KV 780!!.

Also, I input the IP, rather than the fqdn of the new supplier......maybe that helped also!

It's sent to u by the supplier of ur line/sub if that's what u mean.

For KV the password is 0000 these's no ID

Hi just done the download for Newcamd/MGCAMD Setup and it needs a user ID and Password....

The line/sub, bought first part is IP Address followed by
Port -- ID -- Password
