Hi just had blade 7000 delivered on my old receiver there is a socket tv/vcr that connects to dvd recorder as i record discs for m8s.if i take this cable out no signal received on dvd recorder with the blade not having this socket what is needed to record to dvd cheers

not getting signal switched scarts around nothing used to receive satellite upstairs no signal now will not tune in.did not think one cable would cause so much hassle

The set-up stated is correct,it's what I'm using.
All TVs are different check the AV settings

On TV, some older TVs have three, on remote usually on either side of the 0,you must have used it before possibly not knowing.
Set it up as said after pressing buttons TV should show eg AV1
