dish 4 sly

hi

the area i live is having the ariels upgraded for the digi changeover

have been told will include sly and hotbird will these communal ariels work with a blade box

just run cable from box on wall to box get a c/line and will that work ok ?????



if so anyone recommend a good/cheap c/share



next question .... have got a kv box at moment so will move that upstairs if downstairs sorted

so will need homeplugs...anyone recommend a good make/cheapest to use ..also do they / will they work ok

can you plug them into a protected extension or do they have to plug straight into wall socket

The digi switch over will not affect sly as sly has its own dish running a coax cable into the blade.
Run the coax cable from dish to box, upgrade the blade firmware if needs be and then find a good c/line for the scrambled channels. Ill pm you a few.

did you read the blade posts ?some links there,a protected extension may give problems,aerials on roof are not the same as sat or cable feeds.

upgrade here included dish with ariel ,hope u get same ,i use de volo plugs and as stated above extension can cause probs

yes we got two dishes one for sky one for hotbird plus digi ariel



so hopefully should be ok

so would the combo work on the aerial if it was a dtt tuner?
