Which Satelite Dish and Rceiver?

Dear All,
I use to have a star view box on my nthell cable line but as most of you may know, it's not functioning any longer.
My question is, I want to buy a satelite dish antenna and a receiver to receive the local free view channels and also as many as foreign channels as possible (African channels too)
May I know if someone can advice me of the choices and how to proceed?
