is server havin prob

hi guys sorry to bother you guys yet again but seem to be havin probs nearly every day now keep losin channels somtimes they come back on in minutes somtimes off for days is it just me or is there known server probs once again sorry for bein a pain and any advice would be much appreiciated big thanx in advaance

They has been update on the box for a fews days now.

Always best to reboot box and router now and then.

Try turning the autoscan OFF.
Menu - System Settings - Other Settings - Power Search Mode = OFF

Signal strength should be around 70/80 if not it could be a connection problem ie splitter

hi jonpc thanx for advice you say there has been update for box yet i dont seem able to find it on 4 shared als my box came with sofware allready installed so will i have to try and install updates manually and if so how do i do it? im a novice on these new boxes so please treat me like an idiot oh my signal strength is between 88 to 92 so no prbs there once again thanx a bunch for all your help

Sorry, should have said a update for the server.

There is problems at the moment with the KV box/server your not alone.

Any updates for your box can be done with the remote,as the first software has been installed.
Menu - Installation - S/W Update

Signal strength appears to be a little strong,too strong a signal can be as bad as a weak signal.
Slacken some of the connections,in the hope the signal strength may come down,or a attenuator may be used.

thanx again followed yer advice signalstrength now between 72 to 86 depending on which channel also reebooted box and router and turned autoscan off and guess wot i got loads of channels back on you guys on this site are amazing if it werent for this site i think we would all have blank screeens so thanx m8 no doubt i will be back on seekin your help in the near future
