Just heard from external sources that the sv6 and the svcombo lan will still be supported with the sv7 thats good to hear , starview offer more support thaN you think also software updates for the sv7 is comptabyible with the sv6 NOT sure need confrimation that 1.02 works on sv6

usually when firmware is released it just does one box model only,others have used sv6 on a sv7 and box not working,its easy to brick older boxes
maybe newer ones are tougher

sv6 and 7 same inside just that they have a driver for lan incorperated with the firmware and thats where they differ one built in one uses a dongle.

but no proof you can use sv6 on sv7 or do it at your risk

hi ive updated sv6 with sv7 firmware and works fine ive flashed it few times back and forth with sv6 and sv7 firmware and using sv7 firmware now and still cooking
