Amiko

hi all. Thinking about getting the amiko micro. Only £50 superb. 
Looking through info first but I'm not too sure what firmware to download. 
I checked lavatronics site and plenty of downloads but I don't know what one I need ?? 
Any tuts kicking about ??

hi chuba if you look a little more on the lavatronics site they have tuts on there i have 2 of these boxes they are a little basic but they do the job had no problems with them

they have weak cable tuners.

I have the Amiko mini combo running it on cable and sat iam not having any problems with the tuner but i have seen reports of weak tuner also got the Amiko mirco se thats a satalite box love it.the reason i got these boxes i run 4 boxes off my dish i used to have all Skybox v8 and f5s kept gliching and no signal, in the process of replacing the remaining Skybox with the Amiko better quality picture in all i am very happy with them   also when you have loaded the unit with the emu and channel software you can update via ftp from Lavatronics website

I am running amiko mino hd combo aswell,great wee box ,easy to set up,got as back up for my kv a780,only down side is epg is crap but using my slowly reawakening kv for epg,p.s combo works on vermin and sly

better enigma 2 receivers can give you 7 day epg.
