Some HD channels on Sky are down (SD working) on servers, there will be more going off soon.

Sky are trialing new codecs on these channels these eventually will be transferred to all HD channels in anticipation for issue of new viewing cards this year. This is Sky's attempt to stop C sharing. I believe some receivers firmware upgrades are available(Enigma ) to get around this.

hi so wot boxes run on enigma ? so would still receive all HD channels if had enigma ? thanks

This relates to all Sat boxes.

so there maybe could be a fix for HD  channels ?

There has been rumours but for now they are just rumours, there's some more cable servers appearing with HD.

ok fingers crossed,wot are cable servers just for cable boxes ie krytview etc ? or would sat boxes work on them ?

Boxes with a cable tuner would work eg Blade Combo, KV has it's own server
