Very bad glitching on many channels!

Hi

I am getting Very bad glitching on many channels especially the MTV ones - I cannot get any of them for the box jumping!

Is this a common error or is there any way this can be fixed?

if it was that bad many would be posting problems,recheck your setup and reboot box and router might clear any faults.

Do you think it could be my internet connection - I'm only on a 6 meg or my cable connection? Does anyone have any problems with the MTV and other music channels or is it just me?

If it's only the music channels your having trouble with and the rest are OK it could be your feed.
Try a scan direct from the wall socket.
Is a wired connection being used.

It is all the MTV channels, VH1 and a few others. Most of my +1 channels are scrambled.

I do not understand how to scan my box direct from the wall socket, it is in a different room and I wouldn't have a clue how to do it. Any advice?

Yes it is a wired connection being used directly into my modem.

Scanning direct from the wall socket means scanning as normal but without the splitter.
