new online update out for kv850

internet upgrade for users with the kv850 and when box updates and reboots do a factory default and a new scan from main feed.
dont touch anything while box is updating.
remove attenuator before scanning.

It doesn't do anything when I go to internet upgrade. it just freezes?

what firmware is on your box as you need 1.06 or 1.07 to update,do you have your box plugged into a vm superhub?

Yea I've got 1.06 and a super hub set on modem mode

try rebooting box and hub to see if it does the internet upgrade

Done that a dozen times.

what way have you got box connected to super hub,hard wired?
do you have a wifi router you could add in then connect lan cable from box to wifi router then from router to super hub,box should upgrade then

It's hard wired and connected to another net gear router from the modem. Any idea how I can sole this because my kv a850 is glitching like mad!

unless your area is having issues with bt or vm your box should update

It doesn't even attempt to update though. I select 'internet upgrade' and it just freezes on the menu page.

could you try to update box at a mates house that has broadband?seen a post saying only the 1.07 will update?

Try a different ethernet cable.
Plug ethernet cable hub to box direct it may be your netgear router.

Having 1.06 should not be a problem as it's common for old/new firmware to overlap therefore 1.06 should still work.

had to update round a friends house, the update hasn't helped any of the glitching im getting in bristol

have you factory reset and rescanned from your main feed and are you 100% sure you are using correct net id? just to add vm and bt had issues earlier.maybe box modem and router need a reboot?
