CSINFO.txt and Clines
Hi Guys
My system is all up and runing on C/S.But I have some issues with picture freezing, but I think this is down to the server having to many users.Consequently I have paid for access to another server.
The Problem that I have is to fold, firstly the user name line I have been given contains two square brakets and a number between.Entering the info using the remote I only have access to curved brackets. I assume this is classed as a different character.Consequently I can get connection to the server. Are curved brackets and square the same ?.
So I thought I would firstly save my present CSINFO.txt then edit it using notepad and get the square brackets that way.
Firstly I cannot get my current CSinfo to save . I am going into the 9991 menu then save CSinfo using the GRP button enter the password number. Then the four **** disappear then allow me to enter them again but the CSinfo does not save.I assume this pass number is the same as the one for access to all the other menus
I am using the latest file as found in the download section.
Anyone got any ideas.
Thanks in advance
Colin

Re: CSINFO.txt and Clines
Presume you tried it without the square brackets as these are not normally used for more info but just to highlight.
If you are given cline its format is:
C: [server address] [port] [username/ID] [password]
Go to downloads,FAQ-How_to.txt in Blade section

Re: CSINFO.txt and Clines
The line is as follows:-
C: cccamboxtv.dyndns.org 12000 CCCAMBOXINST[1061] NYV88edk
I have changed some of the digits but the format is the same
Cheers
