Diseq Problem Empty Diseq Problem

Post by coolsolutions Sun Dec 04 2011, 18:25

I was wondering whether anyone else had seen this problem.

Firstly my configuration , I have a 1.65m dish aimed at Astra 2 (28.2East), In addition I have a a second 1.2 metre dish aimed at astra 1 19 Degrees east.

I am using a 4 port diseq switch, of which I am only using the first two ports.

I have setup up the diseq settings in the menu and can view the channels from both satellites.

When I change from a channel that is on Astra 1 to a channel that is on astra 2 all is well and the channels display ok. But when I do the opposite change from astra 1 back to astra 2 all channels display 'no signal being received' is displayed. At this point if I put the box into stanby, then back on again channels are ok.

This problem is especially annoying if I use the 'group' option because I only want to view HD channels.

any Ideas, Thanks in advance

Regards Colin
