Now in downloads this is the patched version with 9991 menu

Latest beta version for the Blade Media BM7000s - 06/09/11

1. Beta-function You Tube is added. MENU> ONLINE SERVICE>YOU TUBE. Press Blue button to change video
format: -

[NORMAL (640x480)] is strongly recommended for best performance.
95% of videos play smoothly, but some videos may have audio problem.

2. 7 Day EPG save function added. When Standby is selected when box is connected to a USB memory device EPG data is saved. The save process takes 10-15 seconds. When box turned back on, the saved file will be installed. (The loading process will take 10-15 seconds and then EPG channel list will appear normally).

3. Motor Moving Graphic bug fixed.

4. Minor bug fixes were made.

5. Increased speed and improved memory management added.

6. Blade Online Channel files updated.

7. Weather Function added

8. Maps Function added

9. Internet Radio Function added

Note they have included some porn streams in the blade online section would advise parental control to be turned on if young kids have access

thanks for this. i have tried it but it seems very unstable at the moment,crashes sometimes,takes ages to connect to the router.i have gone back to the older firmware and back to no problems, but i do like the new functions so hopefully it wont be to long before the problems aer ironed out of the beta release and carnt wait for the stable version.

maybe its an issue with netgear routers brcause on this firmware it does not find an ip address automatic as 122p did,you have to press the red button to scan for an ip in the ip settings menu on the blade then it gets the ip from the router.

Hi I am a new member so hi Smile

I am also using the new beta software without problems as far as I can see,also using a netgear router again no problems.

The only thing I have found is that if you are watching a free to air channel for say an hour and then try to watch a cam channel then you have to restart the cam or it will not connect. No problem if only watching cam channels the cam stays connected, so not sure if this is the server I am using or a problem. Could be the server just disconnects after no activity same as most networks not sussed it yet, or that the server needs a stay alive to keep connected.

EDIT: After a bit of research it seems the server and router need a keep alive if not watching a cam channel, you can do this on a linux box in the code for the cam but the blade does not have the setting in the cam menu ( usual setting is 120 sec) anyway no biggi at least its not a big problem.

i dont have a problem when watching fta channels for a few hours then switching to a $ channel.

I seem to have resolved the problem with a hard reboot of the blade i.e turn the box off from mains power, rather than just a soft reboot, from standby still powered.

always worth giving it a hard reboot the blade now and again same with routers/modems they tend to get clogged up if you have loads of pcs/lines going.i do mine a couple of times a week it stops a lot of glitching problems that some people get.

reboot always reboot..... like us humans they need a weekend and a reboot is their weekend to offload all the weeks shite study

they are drones and are taking over the world what will they want next 4 weeks paid leave and an xmas bonus for not crashing or glitching!

What I meant is that I am an IT man ( look after my work network and pc's)so when one of my users rings up I have the patter have you rebooted as 95% of user windows problems recover with a reboot Smile

I've newly installed 122p on blade,I recieve UK channels no prob but I can't stream file from pc via blade stream to box. worked fine prior to installing 122p .

Can anyone advise,Will 122p support streaming & can I view MKV files ??
