Starview 7 Blank Screen

My SV7 was working yesterday, even part of channels, but this morning I am receiving a blank screen...! Do I need updated software? even if there is a software how can I update, because I can't see the screen. Thanks

There is no blank screens anywhere,it has to be a your set-up.

Is there any channels working ?
Has the box been rebooted.?
Does the box have power.?
Has all connections been checked?
Does the TV receive any channels from another source?
If you have a VM sub box (one you pay for) does it work?

Thanks for reply. I have rebooted. Box has power and can change channels on the box, but no signal showing on the TV not even Menu. I have checked the scart lead, but scart lead is ok. TV is also ok. Thanks

Do you have a VM sub box that works.? This is to check there is a live VM feed to the box.
Is FTA channels working (BBC are they working
Remove splitter, Wall socket ---box---TV , do FTA channels work

mines done that before, can get a loose connection in the scart socket, i wiggled the scart around then wacked the box a few times front and back mate. came back on.

i had lights on could change the channel number but nothing on the screen, when it works you owe me 20 quid ha ha ha.

I have checked Virgin box, that is working. I have tried both scart and one TV normal output, but somehow like no signal is coming from it...!

Has it been tried without the splitter.?

Disconnect from mains and have a look inside for loose connections
or leaking caps

learn.......... just bang it a few times and wiggle scart socket

Looks like connection faults to me.

honestly munish, keep whacking it and trying it. keep it all connected includeing scart and youll see it flicker on the the tv then come back on. done it before and done a friends too.

and the more you whack it the more chance of it not working at all

whacking it, aint all bad when you infront of the camera.

there is new softwear that came out today but i have tried it and still getting the same black screen and not connecting showing on the screen can someone help please

ive just updated 2 showmustgoon2.12 still dnt work hwever on other forums the say it has worked 4 them

99% says it dont work not tested

i have put the updated firmware on 2 boxes and they are both working fine.

yes got fixed and is working again the odd person has a problem in not doing it correctly

Plug box out for 2 mins then plug in again. Think it should show c113 on start up Make sure scart lead is OK. Then try TV/AV
button on remote. If need be try revival trick with remote;
MENU-DOWN-RIGHT-DOWN(2)-OK(2)
Then do auto-scan
