Missing channels, eg Sky sports 1 and Sky Premiere

I am ex CW and in london. I have lost Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports News , Sky Premiere and Sky premiere + 1. I have tried a factory reset sdeveral times now. I have a Starview1

did you scan with a splitter on? maybe an outside problem if it does not come back.

Yes-I never use splitters and have done these Factory scans many many times over the years Sky Family is also missing but nothing else on any other channel, so it seems to be a sky thing. Could it be a temporary regional difficulty? I can't find anything about it on VM's website

yes possible local fault if you cannot get them back at the moment,or other things happening.

What do you mean by "other things"? What else can it be? Why Sky Sports 2, 3 and Xtra and not 1? why all the movie channels but not Family or Premiere?

But the link is genuine-to a customer services message on VM's own site Plus I could have forwarded several similar messages from bona fide longrunning members of eg World Of Digital So don't panic over tghings like this. The big change will/would be much bigger than simple N3

But these replace older cards-Nothing to do with N3. And if so, why hasn't everyone said this is deffo the end?

When Virgin decided to start the Smartcard replacement there will likely be an announcement on here and on My Virgin Media, as well as the website mentioned.



At the moment there are no changes to the TV service

Virgin media are trying there best to get rid of clone modem issue in the uk once they have completed that they will focus on dodgy tv boxes N3 is a cheap solution time is running out

N3 is not the option they will be using. Hence their big move last month. Read your specialist websites

iptv (on demand). Nagra 3 makes no diff what they use we wont get it for free

to keep every one guessing what they are going to use in the future maybe in combo with iptv.we will only know when it happens.

The Sky Sports 1 prob is deffo genuine. Why?

as said if tps go offline=no channels only blank screen and when repaired they will come back.
