lost almost half the channels espn,discovery.uk gold etc.still had all the sky sports, movies.I am on telepest did a rescan without any success.Used to pick up 78 transponders but only got 44 anyone got any suggestions

Are you scanning without a splitter.
Sounds like a weak signal,try a booster,hope it's not the tuner
