itv2 disappeared

My itv2 channel has disappeared. Rescanned my box and other channels also disappeared. If i do a factory reset will it bring these channels back? Last time i did factory reset it found 400+ channels. When i lost itv2 and rescanned my box only finds200+. Any ideas? Should i factory reset?

factory reset then power off at back and autoscan and emu to on,do not use splitters when scanning.

might sound really stupid but what is a splitter? Did anyone else lose channels or just me?

Splitter is the little gadget that divides the cable leads to VM box Broadband ect.

If you haven't got a splitter then I suggest that, every so often, you plug you VM box back in and change the channels as they can monitor the viewing trend and may become suspicious by the non use.
