glitching on only one tp

On my other thread i lost a whole tp 211.00 and eventually got it back but the channels relating to that single tp have glitched very badly since(thought it would cure itself),however if i plug my box into my mates/dads feed the channels work fine,so i figure my internet connection but every other channel is working fine,so if a bad internet connection why are others working ok and only these channels are affected?.I have checked update and i am running 16/8/13.

what levels are your signal and quality at both places,bad cables splitters and low signals can cause issues.

On my own feed i am getting Signal 77 Quality ranging from as low as 30 to high of 72 on the glitching channels,others are fine at Signal 77+ mostly 82 + and Quality average of 93,sorry didn't take readings at other places but can if it matters.

30 is far too low,how old is your cabling.

The reading of 30 is for the channels that glitch and this seems to fluctuate from 30-72 ,my overall quality is 93 for all other channels,if i had a bad cable/splitter or internet would i not experience this glitching over all channels/T.P's and not one set of channels relating to one singular T.P

Having trouble with one channel or TP can be related to a bad splitter as suggested before.
Signal readings don't mean a lot have two boxes both show a big difference in the readings one good the other bad next days its vice versa on the same setup no probs with either box.

ok will try a few things see what happens,my old man going on hols as it happens so may take his set up and try at mines and vice versa see if i can weedle it out

is it a sly sports channel? one of these channels have a lower signal and prone to problems.

There has been a lot of TP changes today best for all to rescan.

No the tp is for discovery channel,dc+1,turbo,quest,itv2+1,etc,typically all the channels i watch regularly for my car programmes,sports channels,movies,etc all ok.

im unsure if this is any help but the last few days i noticed on a few channels specially night time the channel i was watching be it movies,disc the channel would go and come during the day they would go but for longer periods of time i cleared all and rescan the tp and chose another area eaither 1 above or below my normal tp and scanned channels and apart from bbc1,2,itv as they wernt my areas local channels i have had glitching reduced to almost nothing and ive noticed an increase in channels

you need your netid location to use correct info.

yeah your correct mine is gatehead as it shows in the scan results but if i select preston 2 which is the 1 after mine the scan still runs and brings in all channels the scanning is like scanning for a mac code if you are able to scan 1 mac code from the next area to yours then the results are still the same as in internet coming on only difference is your not showing up on your local grid as there being 2 active ips same with the channels the difference being bbc and itv channels arnt your local 1's and some areas that are being worked on this comes in handy to jump to another grid until the work is done as long as theres a reset to default between scans
