hello people of KV. My remote got wet the other day. Just got new one, problem is i have lost all my channels how do i rest my box 2 get all my channels back also i am not technically minded so i need step by step run through plsssssss anuone

menu>installation>0000>factory default,then rescan as normal,after your up and running try menu> installation>0000>s/w update,and update via remote if needed

What did you do,did you have to reinstall software,scan or whatever as it may help other who drop their remote in water.

Hi mate just had 2 search 4 channels again and hey presto. Also had 2 get new remote. Buying another 2 off flebay just as a safety net. Thanks again

it sounds like the box defaulted when the provider had a fault and the channels vanish so it would need a fresh scan.
