hi my name is joe i have just got a the box super usb and it seems old so i think it will need a new firmware upgrade also do i need to connect it to a sat dish or can i use a normal antena i would love to know how this works i live just outside glasgow . and where can i download the firmware to upgrade it if anyone has a link or can direct me to one that would be great i never got any instructions with it

Hi Joe, the box super usb (Starview) is too old and don't work any more,it's a cable box,believe this is what you have.
What does it show on the front of the box,is there a lan connection on it,a lan connection is needed to connect the box to net with a ethernet cable

hi thanks for getting back to me it has no ethernet connection just the scart at the back and usb port and the connections for the antena it has 2 scart ports

Sad to say Joe the box is only good for FTA channels eg BBC,ITV with cable
All boxes need an lan connection for sports/movie channels.
