no sky sport 4

any 1 no why only 223 channels on scan in north east ntl as no sky sports 4 about 20 missing.tried default and rescan every day for a week same reults 223 thanks in advance for replies

Sounds like some TPs are missing.

These channels use the same TP as SS4 if they are also missing scan from a direct feed from the wall socket,no splitter,a factory reset maybe needed.

strangely copied off my kryptview and 80 channels found on 256 qam but if you scan on this you can only watch them others say no signal so rescanned others then come on and 256 qam now says no signal on kryptview its got both qam settings running 64 qam and 256 .

You lost me a little,have you scanned from a direct feed,no splitter,sometimes the splitter can be the problem.

64/256 Qam works OK on the KV and has for a while,most if not all HD channels picked up are 256.

yes scanned from direct feed many people in my area now phoned same problem,can only watch missing channels by scanning on qam 256 but then others say no signal,both wont show at once like kryptview.you can only watch which qam you scan on others no signal

Had same problem with another box (not SV) did a full scan on what gave me the most channels (likely 64) then scanned manually for the rest.
What Qam does SS4 use in your area.?

Just checked a old SV box (pre Nag 3) scanned on both 64/256 Qam is your firmware up-to-date.
The old box also picked up,
407: Sky Thriller
409: Sky Sci-fi Horror
410: Sky Modern
412: Sky Indie
They wont be there long.
