Re: IP... Red button to scan???
Come on fellas!
Any help. My blade is dead in the water at present, so to speak.
Would a Blekin router be better idea? Any one got it working smoothly with one of these?

Re: IP... Red button to scan???
Not being connected to the net will not stop scanning for channels, why scan in the IP settings.?
Menu/Installation/Channels Search(provided dish is correct)/Pin-0000/Scan on Satellite 28.2.E Astra/Eurobird (again depending on dish settings.
All channels will be found without connection to router
Connection from router to box only enables encrypted channels to be viewed

Re: IP... Red button to scan???
No not scanning for channels.
Scanning for an IP address.
It is the red button option within 'ip address' (When DHCP is on)
I have just loaded the new firmware (5-10-11) Got connected to the router for about 10 mins before it dropped the connection (orrange light at NIC turned off) Rebooting the router and the Blade doesnt bring back an IP.
Any ideas?

Re: IP... Red button to scan???
Did the box ever work.
Have you tried going back to basics.(reset)
Has a older firmware been tried
Try straight from box to modem although don't reckon its got anything to do with the router
