DHCP.... HELP!
Ok I bought a Netgear bridge (WN200RPT). DHCP is enabled.
On the Blade DHCP is also enabled under ip settings.
I got the bridge home and have set it up to my router. It is working correctly. I can connect to it both wireless and with a cat5 cable. (on my desktop if I remove my wireless usb and insert the network cable I get an interent connection.
If I then place the same cable into the Blade and restart both the bridge and the blade. I get no connection.
**The strange thing is I had this working for about 10 min, I was able to view youtube videos and pull up maps, even connected to the CS server. I left the box for about an hour (to root the coax cable)when I cam back no connection and nothing I seem to do is getting me a connection.**
I have the lastest version of software on both the blade and the bridge.
Anyone shead any light.

Re: DHCP.... HELP!
sometimes with lan boxes you need to power off at rear box modem and router for a min then on as it may need to find an ip address

Re: DHCP.... HELP!
I have had them all powered off. Even the main router that the bridge connects to.
Then turned on in this order:
Main router, bridge, blade.
One other question, when in the ip settings on the Blade there is an option when 'DHCP is ON'. Red button to SCAN. However once pressed nothing seems to happen.

Re: DHCP.... HELP!
The bridge and router should be set up to be on the same subnet.
Then try turning off the dhcp server on the bridge as you dont want the router and bridge dishing out ip addresses.
