reflashing

hi
what is best way to reflash firmware
was advised on here to reflash see if it sorts small prob out
got loader and firmware
box connected
but keeps coming up (download not requested )
anyone help please....

what firmware you trying to put on
should be

have tried that and the one before
do i have to wipe the others off before reflashing
if so how....

was having a bit of trouble with some channels and was advised to reflash firmware

thats the latest version, why not just factory default and then rescan that normally sorts out minor issues

hi all
got a strange problem
most my channels working ok except the itv 2 eurosport and the others on that fequency...which comes up at 42700...i thought it was 36300...........
when turn box on in morning they usually are on but after a while go off....also if i change channel and go back to them they go off
also when they are off and i go onto them it seems to knock off the other channels i have to go to a freeview channel ..bbc1 etc get that to come on then the channels will work with the exception of the 42700 ones
i am in birmingham does anyone else there have the same problem or is it me
have checked everything and all the usual advice usually given
rescan reboot no splitter etc.......
any help would be apprieciated .....sorry for the essay

dont think the box will accept older versions , is there more than 1 provider for your area, if so try a different provider at scan

no theres only one thats telepest
checked net id on vm sub box and thats the same
cant understand why its doin it when all else is ok

there are channels missing from kv as in not working,when you scan are you doing it from a main feed which has a higher signal.

box will not work on older firmware
