kv freezing

hi guys, just asking question about sly spts 1 at moment. is anybody experiencing same problem as im having with sly spts 1 freezing and scrambling about every minute. just want to rule out that i have a problem or it is a general one all over. live in west mids.

can anyone enlighten me as to why the signal keeps freezing, just trying to understand what the cause is so can explain to my lads. cheers.

This is a problem will all boxes and will continue until all is up and running

have you tried rebooting all units?

yeh, have tried re-booting kv, router and running it withut splitter but still freezing and scrambling. was checking that it was an all over problem and not isolated to me. If everyone suffering same problems then no worries, just frustrating when trying to watch footie.
i suppose sit back and be patient is the answer, and lucky we we have anything at all.

have you done the new s/w update on k/v box 24/04/2011 ?
i was having the same problem with the Discovery channels
and doing the update sorted it

yeh, did update last week, but still freezing every 20-30 secs. seems to be ok until match starts then the freezing and scrambling appears. havnt really watched the other channels only sly spts

There was some work done Sun/Mon which has reduced the glitching/freezing

what signal and quality levels are you getting?

im getting signal of 88 and quality 86 and drops to sig 79 and qua 82. this is about the same for other channels and fta ones and they dont scramble. Main prob has been sly spts 1& 2. i know the servers are up and down but some reports said the s/ware update would help this.
Have tried running kv without splitter when the freezing and scrambling was bad but made no difference. Using direct lan cable, it is quite long but has been this way when first bought kv when we had no problems.
If others are experiencing same prob then fine im just ruling out that i havn't got a problem thats needs sorting. live in cov area.

Hi yesterday part of the channels were working, today mostly scrambled, comes for few seconds and back to scrambled. I am having this problem or everyone?

Presume you have both SV 7 and a KV box.

I believe all KV boxes are having the same problem at the moment.

What's your signal strength

KV S is 82 and Q between 79

I have SV7 which has stopped working altogether...!

Signal strength about right.

Change the leads over on the splitter,one of the ports may be faulty
