I just been told iff we can get hold off the datasheet for the chip in the unit we should be able to firmware would have to be decompiled and changed

rumour has it they will be back online at the weekend

yes its just a rumour,i think server guys made his money and done a runner leaving lots off people in the dark,go for a krypyview much better don't know how long thats gona last but aleast its still working..

Hi all,

Hope someone can assist what I might be doign wrong. Got a SV7 and installed carling 1.04 fw as per instrcutions in this forum. Did a scan and it finds all channels including $ ones. The box gets an ip address when connected to the internet and I have a BB package only.

I have switched off the router and the box and then turned them back on again and I get the FTA channel but I do not get the $ scrambled channels and I have left the box on over the weekend but still when I press the Info button on the remote, it says "Connecting" at the bottom of the screen so what am I doing wrong?

I have checked all the setting the the step with selecting UStream does not apply for me as I have read that the 104 fw has this built in.

Is there anything else that I need to put into the settings on the box. Do I need to enter an IP address of the CS server?

If you read the posts in the first page of this section you will see the server is down, and who know's when will be back on so we will just have to wait and see

TAFFYD this is a forum correct me if I'm wrong its for info from people and thats all the people and me is doing asking for info on the starview7 boxes if they are back on or getting fixed is there somethink wrong with that.
then we have people like you taking the p*** out of us saying can we read.

listen m8 i am sorry if i offended you but when are people gonna realise s/v aint coming back any time soon they is foooked m8 sorry if you have lost out but that is the nature of the game you pay yer money you take yer chances who KNOWS whats gonna happen next so once again i apologise and hope their are no bad feelings

ban the 2 of you lol plenty of posts put up and the same questions asked,as said before wait and see if sv comes back,been a few posts saying coming back,if they do come back i would not say to anyone to buy one.
