It was confirmed 1.03 firmware would work on the SV.6
The same has not been said about the 1.04 firmware.

Therefore best NOT to use on the SV.6

If it ain't broken don't fix it. Very Happy

Hi guys.

My box stopped working yesterday (I was running on 1.03 and box was continuously locking). I guess this was deliberately done by the server guys to ensure everyone updates to the new 1.04 firmware. However since doing so the box has started working (F-view) but at the bottom of the screen - where it previously showed connected or not connected. It now reads can't find server.

I'm guessing I have done everything correct whilst updating and it is simply down to the fact that the server is down at the moment.

Is anyone else getting the same problem?

P.s does the euroview use the same server, as this box is still working fine.

Regards

yes all starview, euroview and ddigital use the same server
starview server was down a while yesterday and now up and running, its always best to keep up with current firmware followed by factory reset and rescan with lan removed, only inserted after you find channels.

did you factory reset when you did the update?,if you did good next step did you them power off box at rear and router and modem for 30 secs then on it should connect.

if not revert to 1.03 firmware and factory reset after you reflashed.
