Been looking round the forums and can`t make my my mind up about the A780 will it work on nag3 ? need advice people please

It works as a c/s (card sharing)and it may only last a year or less but your old cable box could have gone at any time also.
You pay your money and take yor chance.


Connect the box to your internet(Modem or Router) via an ethernet port.

they say no time limit,as sv6 is only a year,i believe it will sell very well as good support is there.

this may sound a little dumb to you experienced guys!

will the kryptview or any of the other new boxes work on n*l N3?

is their maybe a firmware that has been designed yet that will work on the older boxes to give n*l channels?

sorry have to ask as my parents have a box as do my inlaws and as they are both pensioners I obviously want to fix their channels so they are not paying if they dont have to.

this kryptview A780 they say its working in england
and an ireland release is pending does this mean they cracked that
nag 3 crap?
apparently with the use of a dongle can help you get round this
but this where the dongle topic comes in to play
a spoofed mac address just to keep yourself
anonymous would be a bonus
its been a while since nag 3 hit in some places surely this is the way forward

No boxes work on Nag3

Some boxes work on Card-Sharing (C/S)
Kryptview A780 and A750 with I-connector
Starview HD Combo and Starview 6
these are the only boxes working on C/S at the moment.

Starview 6 will only last a year the rest are unknown although like previous boxes they can go off at any time.
As before "You pay the money you take the chance".

also to point out they need an internet broadband connected all the time for it to work also.

As you say just purchase the box,as before it can go off at any time

hi question what does c/s mean and with the a780 you say have to have it connected to the internet at all times so not like the old boxes with just cable connection .can it be traced as with internet connection yo have your own IP address .sorry but new to this ?

If I purchase a Kryptview A780 today, The only way the box will work is through CardSharing? And if Kryptview only works via Cardsharing... does that mean it is just as good as StarviewCombo HD?

krypt will work ,as starview server has problems.

What do you mean by server... I've only ever had Starview 1 which had keys that were changed every so often. What's meant by servers and in the past if a kryptview server went down, what do you have to do? And do you have to subscribe to cardsharing or is that a free service?

its a secret address for box to work via lan new box new technology,all you have to do is buy the box no extras involved

Lilly has purchased this box and is only receiving the freeview channels... is that because of the way she has set it up or are the servers not working? and what happens if and when the servers go down? There are other backups that are running or you have to wait a couple of days... or is that the end when the server goes down?
