any help appreciated thanks
Hi, I have been out of these circles for a whilst now. I used to have the old starview boxes until virgin put an end to it. I have just tried the android boxes but do not like them one bit.
The questions I have are quite testing.
I would like to invest in the new boxes that are currently available but don't have a clue which to go for so will just start by saying what I want and what I know.
I would like to have all the channels available to me like I did with the starview, but would (if possible) not have to install a dish.
so...
what box/boxes are best?
what kind of price should I be paying for cshare?
are they stable?
and most important what rough price should I be looking at paying for a decent box?
I have spent the past few days researching and have found various boxes and various sharing sites.I have noticed that certain places only offer certain lists. And I am starting to get tired of looking, due to the fact I think I may up buying something that I can only use as a door stop.
cheers and any help and guidance is much appreciated.

Re: any help appreciated thanks
Kryptview boxes HD & SD are still popular with no subs £250 HD £150 SD, to buy.
Combo boxes are good as it gives a choice of both Sat & cable, sub for cable is around £80.00 per year as more are going down that route because of no HD on Sat.
Have a look at the Blade Combo section or their site,

Cheers for the response. So kryptview requires no subscription, so am I right in guessing that it works like the Starview but with ethernet? I don't own a dish so would I need the combo, or is it the more reliable and the must have. Again thanks for all advice given.

As you say the KV is no subs like the SV used to be but it does have it's ups and downs as the KV section shows, only mentioned the Combo as a back up for sat if VM went down and have not seen any bad reports about them.

Cheers again, with new boxes do you need a subscription or is it the same principle as the sd (kryptview) and with the combo systems do you have to have a subscription?
